摘要
It presents a research results, which aimed to analyze the Information Literacy in the context of Distance Learning, through the professional practice of distance instructors. To do so, how to develop a theoretical research on topics related to Distance Learning, Information Literacy and Bruce's seven pillars (1999) and suggests a framework that interrelates as thematic. The methodological approach was guided by a field research at the Distance Learning Institution, in Londrina state of Parana. Qualitative data were collected through semi-structured interviews with distance instructors, in order to identify the practice of Information Literacy in their professional activities. The results identified that although instructors have informational skills, but Information Literacy practice is not institutionalized at the University in question. It is concluded whether an application of Information Literacy models is essential for the optimization of professional practices in the Distance Learning context.
