System identification and control analysis for CNC machines

摘要
This paper focuses on designing and simulating a control algorithm for a Computer Numerical Controlled(CNC) machine, considering two perpendicular axes of translation. A mathematical model of the system is estimated using ARX model and then a controller is design using Closed Loop Pole Assignment algorithm. In this paper are presented the design, simulation and implementation results for pole-placement design technique used to control the position of the motors. To implement and simulate the designed controllers, Matlab together with its graphical extension, Simulink and System Identification Tool is used.
