摘要
Modelling approaches to handle large-scale computing needs are here presented, with reference to the dosimetric analysis of patients carrying implants undergoing medical treatments that involve electromagnetic-based technologies. The main features of this type of analysis are put in evidence, showing three examples of applications related to magnetic resonance imaging and magnetic hyperthermia treatment.
