Calculation of the reaction-zone structure for heterogeneous explosives

We present calculation results concerning the pressure profile in the chemical-reaction zone of a plane steady-state detonation wave for some condensed heterogeneous explosives. Based on a comparison with experimental data, we estimate the applicability of the models of the macrokinetics of explosives that we considered for a description of the reaction zone.
