The Use of Literature in the Brazilian Legal Education

摘要
The research analyzes the relationship between law and literature, suggesting the use of it as a methodological aid to legal education, since the traditional, expository and exegetical method is insufficient for a full understanding of the law. To this end, initially presented the historical context in which the legal education and the methodology used in this, demonstrating that remains the same until the contemporaneity, which creates various obstacles for the student to take the object from the legal Science. Then, is law and literature, highlighting how this can contribute to reflection and understanding of that. As regards the methodology, the research is qualitative, exploration in relation to objectives, using the deductive method and working with data from books, articles, and constitutional laws and infra-constitutional. It is concluded that the literature may be an important mechanism to assist in the methodology of legal education to collaborate in the construction of knowledge of students, encouraging them to read and to critical thinking, thus contributing to the learning of law with a differentiated perspective.
