摘要
The late pattern and expanding mindfulness towards maintainable item outline, regular based fiber materials are picking up a restoration prominence to supplant manufactured based fiber on the plan of composites, particularly for car auxiliary and semi basic applications. In this research work present the comparison study of mechanical properties of sisal-jute and jute-banana hybrid composite. Sisal, jute and banana fibers are used as reinforcement with epoxy resin to from hybrid composite specimen. Natural fibers surface was treated with 1 % of sodium hydroxide for three hours. The fiber compositions in each specimen are 1:1 while the resin and hardener composition 10:1 respectively. The specimens are prepared according to ASTM standard and tested for calculating the tensile strength and flexural strength. The mechanical properties also calculated by using rules of hybrid mixture and the expected result also compared with experimental results. The flexural quality and modulus is higher incentive than elasticity and modulus of composite. It was discovered that the quality and modulus increments with increment in volume portion up to half of fiber content. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
