摘要
The control of a photovoltaic power generation system with maximum power point tracking (MPPT) is the core in solar power system. Selecting step length affects tracking speed and power output stability of the system directly. This paper analyses the variable step length conductance incremental method, an improved adaptive variable step length conductance incremental method. The MPPT algorithm is proposed based on the analysis of dynamic characteristics of a photovoltaic battery and P-U characteristic curve. Besides, Matlab simulation model is also established. The simulation results show that the algorithm can track maximum power point accurately. It can also reduce the system tracking time dramatically and avoid tracking deviation effectively. It enhances the stability of the PV system and at the same time improves the efficiency of the photovoltaic power generation system output.
