摘要
A statistical analysis of measured electromagnetic field strength levels in a reverberation chamber with flexible shaking walls with various amplitudes is described. The amplitude of flexible shaking walls is one of the key design factors generating a variety of multipath electromagnetic fields in a vibrating intrinsic reverberation chamber (VIRC) to suit individual testing requirements. Since uncorrelated samples are preferred to improve the accuracy of statistical analysis, the statistics were calculated using estimated uncorrelated samples selected from the recorded data. Assuming that the design criteria of the ideal perfectly random electromagnetic environment are a standard deviation of the data of less than 2.0 dB and a rejection rate of the chi-squared goodness of fit test of less than 50%, we determined that the measured amplitude of the flexible shaking walls must be more than one eighth of the wavelength at the test frequency.
