摘要
A ternary diffusion study was carried out at 1500 °C in the Ti-rich region of the Ti-Mo-Ta diagram. Calculations of direct and cross coefficients were computed by the extended Boltzmann-Matano analysis for 20 compositions corresponding to the diffusion path intersections. Results were discussed regarding relations derived from the second law of thermodynamics and criteria for stability of solutions. The observation of molybdenum and tantalum profiles of the Ti-Mo65Ta35 coupled supposes a similar behavior of these elements during diffusion. Results also indicate that concentrations are indeed strongly asymmetric, while molybdenum and tantalum contents decrease in the same way.
