摘要
E-learning is a process of acquiring knowledge via electronic media and technology. In layman's terms, e-learning is "learning that is transmitted electronically". The goal of this study was to see if there were any links between the antecedents and intention to use e-learning among inactive trainees who registered under E-Rezeki Program at E-Rezeki Centre, Kuala Lumpur. The researchers developed two research objectives and two research questions based on the conceptual framework which comprised of four independent variables which were Cognitive Beliefs (Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness), Social Support (Managerial Support, Peer Support and Family Support), Self-Efficacy and System Quality and Intention to Use E-Learning as the dependent variable. A quantitative research methodology was used and data was gathered using questionnaires. Data was collected using a quota sampling technique involving 169 inactive trainees. The findings revealed system quality and perceived usefulness were the highest antecedents towards the intention to use e-learning (M=4.19, SD=.39 and M=4.16, SD=.60) respectively. In terms of association between cognitive beliefs, social support, self-efficacy and system quality towards the intention to use e-learning, it was found that family support and perceived usefulness had the highest scores (.725, p<0.01 and .677, p<0.01) respectively. The findings of this study are expected to aid in the improvement or innovation of business strategies, particularly those involving e-learning.
