Dagestan vector in Russia's foreign policy in the 60s in XVIII century

In the publication, on the basis of the analysis and use of various sources, the Dagestan vector of the Caucasian policy of Russia in the 60th years of the 18th century is considered. Authors- of work from objective positions consider the measures of implementation of the Caucasian policy of Russia directed to prevention of the Turkish and Crimean aggression in Dagestan. During Russian-Ottoman rivalry there is a growth of the pro-Russian foreign policy orientation of local governors that was promoted by the constructive policy pursued by Russia during the considered period in the region.
