摘要
This paper discusses the theoretical basis for assessing temperature. visibility and toxicity downstream of a fire in a tunnel with longitudinal ventilation. A model is presented which solves the one-dimensional equations of conservation of mass and energy. This model requires a number of empirically derived parameters. An example prediction is given for the conditions downstream of a lorry fire.
