摘要
This study aims to determine the science process skills and reading comprehension levels of high school students, the relation between these variables and whether there is a significant difference between them according to gender and grade year. Science process skills were measured with the "Science Process Skill Test" and reading comprehension scores were measured with the "Reading Comprehension Test". The basic results achieved in the study are as follows: Science process skills and reading comprehension levels of the high school students were not sufficiently developed. While there is no significant difference between the science process skills according to gender, there is a significant difference between reading comprehension levels in favour of the female students. In terms of the class year, there is a significant difference in favour of the higher classes. Besides, there is a significant relation at the level of .45 between the science process skills and reading comprehension skills of the students.
