摘要
Literature review (106 references) on analysis of recent looks concerning the process of PVC gelation. The characteristics of parent substance (suspension or mass PVC grains - Figs. 2 and 3) has been presented. The course of gelation of rigid PVC mixtures has been discussed. Recent methods of investigations on gelating mixture properties have been characterized in detail, especially estimation of gelation degree G [equations (1)-(4)] viz., plastographic investigations (Figs. 6 and 7), rheological measurements (Figs. 8-12), sorptive methods (Fig. 13), DSC (Fig. 14) and microscopy (especially electron microscopy). Correlation of PVC gelation process with changes of polymer structure has been marked.
