摘要
In this paper we would discuss the possible other methods of propulsion system i.e. detonation wave engines. After some extensive research and experiments in the initial proceedings of the combustion system the researchers have concluded that there is a significant rise in the pressure which in turn increases the overall efficiency in comparison to deflagrative combustion. The types of detonative combustion engines i.e. Pulsed Detonation Engine (PDE) and Rotating Detonation Engine (RDE) are also discussed here. As, Rotating Detonation Engine provides more advantages over Pulsed Detonation Engine there is more emphasis on the rotating detonation engines. They are mostly applied for all kind of jet engines like ramjet, scramjet, turbine and rocket engines. Researches have been conducted with different combination of fuels like Hydrogen- Air, Hydrogen-oxygen etc to find the most efficient combination under laboratory conditions. Finally, the possible combination of engines is discussed.
