Development of customer-oriented IOS: initiating e-collaboration projects

摘要
In this paper, we present preliminary results of our research on c-Collaboration development. We argue that collaboration between companies is not just a matter of available technology but has to take into consideration further factors and aspects such as relationship characteristics, environmental factors, etc. Usually it is not advisable to develop a "one-size-fits-all" solution, but a plethora of proprietary, bilateral solutions is inefficient and unmanageable as well. In this paper, we therefore propose a development approach that combines aspects of IS research and marketing science in order to develop customer-group oriented collaboration systems.
