摘要:
Pulsed field magnetization (PFM) is an effective technique for utilizing (RE)BCO bulk superconductor as a strong flux source. Although the PFM needs a more compact excitation coil than the field cooling magnetization (FCM), resultant flux density distribution after PFM is more sensitive to local superconducting properties such as critical current density in the superconductor. This paper reports estimation of inhomogeneous superconducting properties of YBCO bulk from FCM experiments and flux density distribution after PFM tests with various strength of pulsed magnetic fields. Then the relation between these results is discussed. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
