摘要
Here, we present results of the neutron diffraction studies on single crystal of the tetragonal intermetallic compound TbFe2Si2. We have succeeded to grow a high-quality single crystal of TbFe2Si2. Bulk studies confirmed strong magnetocrystalline anisotropy of this crystal, with the crystallographic c-axis as an easy axis of magnetization. The neutron diffraction experiment has revealed a complex antiferromagnetic ground-state structure with two propagation vectors, namely k(1) = (0.323, 0, 0.152) and k(2) = (0, 0, 0.53). Magnetic phase diagram of TbFe2Si2 is also presented. (C) 2007 Published by Elsevier B.V.
