Performance of Hydrothermal Fabricated Manganese Dioxide/CNTs Nanocomposites as Electrodes Materials

摘要
A series of well-dispersed multi-wall carbon nanotube and manganese dioxide composites were fabricated using hydrothermal method by introducing the intact carbon nanotubes treated in condensed hydrochloric acid. The transmission electron microscopy results showed the two components were well proportioned, and the manganese dioxide nanorods uniformly aligned along the carbon nanotubes; the XRD results indicated the manganese dioxide were in well crystalloid alpha-form without finding other forms. The cyclic voltammetry was introduced to evaluate the electrochemical property, and it observed that the materials exhibited the ideal capacitive property while their highest specific capacitances were 65 F/g and 67 F/g, respectively. It also found the specific capacitance did not decrease too much as the increasing of potential sweep to a high frequency; in addition, it showed a good stability in long-term cycle.
