High Efficient Power Electronic Inverter Topology with SPWM Technique for Single Phase Trasformerless Utility Interactive Photovoltaic System

摘要
This project enhances the elimination of leakage current in transformerless PV system which shows the attractiveness of using renewable energy system( PV) to satisfy the upcoming energy demand. Inspite of the advantages of implementing transformerless topology, a new issue such as capacitive leakage current is introduced, which has to be mitigated as it generate EMI and deteriorate the effectiveness of the system. To limit ground leakage current within a reasonable margin an effective PN-NPC (Positive Negative- Neutral Point Clamped) inverter configuration, developed with positive and negative neutral point clamped switching cell have been proposed with SPWM (Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation) technique. Thus reducing leakage current in an effort to eliminate potential risk to users and to ensure electromagnetic compatibility, thereby obtaining high efficiency and reduced power loss. Comparative characteristics of leakage current for PN-NPC, NP-NPC, DP-NPC, DN-NPC have been provided. Simulation and the results are discussed, using the most commonly used MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. Proposed simulation and the experimental result depicts the effectiveness of the proposed system.
