摘要
The paper discusses the survey on learning habits of bachelor level generation Z students of Faculty of Business Administration, University of Economics Prague during their preparation for Major State Field Exam in the programme Corporate Finance and Management. Major State Field Exam in this bachelor programme is a very sensitive topic, as students often fail, even though the state exam is, together with other simple requirements, the prerequisite of being accepted to master programme without entrance exam (only in the summer exam period). We think that part of the problem may be in generation Z learning habits. They may prefer simpler text and find current literature too complex and difficult to read. To find out what is happening we initiated small survey and examined which materials students use and why. Students were interviewed immediately after the state exam. The paper gives results of the survey.
