摘要
The current study reports the fabrication of a new Cd-MOF, [Cd (DPTTZ) (5-AIP)] (IUST-1), which was synthesized by the reaction of 5-Aminoisophthalic acid (5-AIP), 2, 5-di (pyridine-4-yl) thiazolo [5, 4-d] thiazole (DPTTZ) and cadmium nitrate tetrahydrate, via solvothermal and sonochemical methods. In comparison to the solvothermal route, which routinely takes 48 h, the ultrasound-assisted method improved faster synthesis with a reaction time of 1 h. Single crystal of IUST-1 was gained by solvothermal method and crystal structure characterized using X-ray crystallography and a range of spectroscopic techniques. The sonochemical method was utilized to synthesize IUST-1 nanoparticles as a precursor for the preparation of CdSO4 center dot H2O nanoparticles. The calcination of IUST-1 at 600 degrees C under air atmosphere yields CdSO4 center dot H2O nanoplates.
