摘要
An approximation developed by Lee and Beck is applied to evaluate the integral that appears in the Master Sintering Curve (MSC) approach. With this approximation, two analytical equations are derived that can be used to determine the activation energy of sintering using only temperature and density data. The two analytical expressions are compared with numeric integration on simulated density versus temperature data for three values of the activation energy of 250, 450, and 650 kJ/mol. The two analytical equations lead to values for activation energy within 0.08% of the value used to create the data.
