摘要：
(Caring for caregivers: from the demand for listening to writing about oneself) This article discusses the process of writing about everyday life in therapeutic residences as a historical record of that special period in Brazilian psychiatric-care reformation when mental health workers and in-patients moved out of asylums and into therapeutic residences. This article investigates the effects of the exercise of writing about self-perception and the caring practices provided by professional caregivers.
