Neutrino oscillations at LSND

The Liquid Scintillator Neutrino Detector (LSND) has performed two searches for neutrino oscillations. A <(upsilon)over bar>(mu) beam arising from mu(+) decay at rest is used to search for <(upsilon)over bar>(mu) --> <(upsilon)over bar>(e) oscillations. An excess of events is observed satisfying selection criteria for <(upsilon)over bar>(e) + p --> e(+) + n. If attributed to oscillations, this corresponds to an oscillation probability of (0.31+/-0.12 +/- 0.05)%. A upsilon(mu) beam arising from pi(+) decay in flight has been used for a upsilon(mu) --> upsilon(e) oscillation search. An excess of events is observed corresponding to an oscillation probability of (0.26+/-0.10 +/- 0.05)%.
