摘要
The dual objective of developing the present ballistic model is to predict an accurate force-time history in a monolithic thick plate due to penetration by a projectile, and to analytically describe the physical phenomena that during a penetration experiment in conjunction with measuring the physical parameters. The analytical model developed considers the evaluation, and prediction of the following quantities: (a) shape and size of the cavity, (b) residual strength of the target, (c) depth of penetration in the target, (d) residual length of the projectile, (e) pressure distribution along the cavity wall and (f) force-time history for the penetration event.
