摘要：
Media art today engages with the world in more concrete ways than it did ten years ago. The earlier obsession with the newest tool and the latest technical advance has been replaced by a critical application of media and digital technologies and the exploration of their social impact and cultural meaning. As digital technologies are becoming more commonplace and widely integrated, an explicitly artistic engagement with them is on the rise.
