摘要
Energy consumption model for mobile ad hoc networks, based on Wi-Fi technology, is presented. This model allows to estimate energy consumption overhead under different routing schemes based on Q-routing, and to analyze them off-line and on-line. The extension for the adaptive Q-routing technique (AQRERM) is proposed and called LPRE-QLR. This extension can provide low power mode for some nodes in the network by significantly decreasing energy overhead for these nodes, while keeping a reasonably low average delivery.
