摘要
The optimal conditions of inkjet-printed nano-silver suspension and silver nitrate solution for fabricating continuous narrow conductive lines on a polyimide substrate are investigated by varying the driving pulse and droplet overlap. The dimensionless Weber number and Reynolds number are used to evaluate the droplet size after impact. It was found that the presence of a suspension of nanoparticles increases droplet diameter. With appropriate droplet overlap and driving pulse conditions, continuous lines of AgNO3 with 24.3 mu m in width and nano-silver suspension with 33 mu m in width were fabricated. In addition, the effects of driving pulse voltage and droplet coverage on the bulging of as-printed conductive lines are also examined. (C) 2011 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
