A pulse method for testing plastic materials under high rates of the external load

摘要：
A method and a unit for pulsed testing of plastic materials under high-rate loading are described. A single-waveguide scheme is used for recording pulsed processes, which makes it possible to measure strain rates (epsilon) over dot of the specimens as high as 10(5) sec(-1). An electrohydraulic method is used for generating pulsed mechanical loads of high intensity.
