Infrared matrix isolation spectroscopy of products formed by discharging of SF6 diluted in nitrogen, oxygen and oxygen/nitrogen gas mixtures

摘要
Gaseous mixtures of diluted SF6 in nitrogen, oxygen and oxygen + nitrogen ("dry air") were subjected to discharge then rapidly frozen between 17 and 20 K. Products formed between neutral and ionic SF6 fragments and nitrogen and oxygen were identified by FTIR spectroscopy with the aid of literature data.
