Forward upgrade for W physics at the RHIC-PHENIX experiment

摘要
The RHIC-PHENIX experiment aims to reveal the flavor-sorted sea quark polarization in the proton. To achieve the goal, the PHENIX forward muon arms have been upgraded for the polarized proton-proton production run at root s = 500 GeV starting at Jan. 2011. The current status and readiness for the measurements are reported in this contribution.
