摘要
Driven by the Large Hadron Collider physics goals, high precision rnuon detection is on top of the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) priorities. A brief review of the CMS muon spectrometer, detection technologies, test beam results, triggering strategies and current status is given. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
