摘要
In 1916 Romania entered the war along with the states of the Entente and against the Central Powers. Romania's military action had important consequences on the military operations on the European battlefields in the latter part of 1916. The Central Powers concentrated more than 40 divisions against Romania, which contributed to the reduction of German offensive pressure in France and the Austro -Hungarian one in Italy. The Central Power armed forces defeated the Romanian army in the autumn of 1916 and forced Russia to dispose important military resources in support of the Romanian army.
