摘要
Interferometric based imaging has a number of advantages over direct detection of photons, including very high time resolution, shot noise limited sensitivity, and reasonable cost. In spite of these advantages, diffuse optical techniques have almost exclusively used direct detection. In order to explore the feasibility of interferometrically detected multiply scattered light, we constructed a multiply scattered low coherence interferometry (MS/LCI) system. Using angle resolved detection and a novel illumination scheme, we demonstrate direct imaging through nearly 94 mean free scattering paths.
