摘要
The role of hydrophobicity of bacterial strains in the cell immobilization on the spherical carbonite SKN-2M was studied. The hydrophobicity of cell and carrier surfaces was described by the equilibrium coefficient of particle distribution in the hydrocarbon-water system. An increase in the hydrophobicity correlated with values of entropic component of the standard thermodynamic potential of the cell population interaction with the carrier with positive changes in the process enthalpy. The results are promising for use in selection of carriers for immobilization of microorganisms.
