A NEW STEP-UP DC-DC CONVERTER FOR PHOTOVOLTAIC APPLICATIONS

摘要
This paper presents a new, non-isolated, high efficiency, step-up topology based on the connection of two buck-boost converters for photovoltaic applications. Aimed at renewable power processing, the topology presents low output voltage ripple and direct power transfer from the source to the load. As a way of validation, a prototype was built and tested as a photovoltaic (PV) maximum power point tracker (MPPT) for 800 W of rated power, 105 V of input voltage and 400 V of output voltage. It was verified the algorithm tracking performance and converter efficiency.
