摘要
Additive manufacturing offers a high degree of freedom enabling the realization of complex structures such as lattice structures. However, in the framework of selective laser melting, this promised design freedom encounters manufacturing limits that depend on the employed material. The present contribution deals with the manufacturability investigation of inclined filigree lattice struts additively manufactured with AlSi10Mg. The results show a clear parameter dependency of the realizable critical inclination angles, which are far below the commonly accepted 45 degrees to 30 degrees inclination limit. The findings suggest a deeper investigation of the relationship of the strut manufacturability and the process parameters to exceed the inclination limit.
