摘要
Interferometric imaging and related methods have been introduced in the Civil Engineering Department of EPFL in the early 70's. It is only recently that these methods started to leave the laboratory environment in view of their application in testing halls, or even in the own site of civil works. After the review presented in part I, this second part of the paper is first concerned with advanced developments aiming at in situ deformation measurement of large structures, principally by using speckle interferometry. The remaining sections are then devoted to applications fulfilled inside and outside the laboratory. The aim is to highlight the potentiality of holographic and speckle techniques in the various branches of civil engineering where the need of knowing and measuring the deformation of a specimen in response to a given solicitation is crucial.
