Economic Analysis of the Integration of the Medical Insurance of Rural Migrant Workers

The thesis introduced the implementation of the regional medical insurance of rural migrant workers at first, and then it made a deep economic analysis to the demand behaviors of rural migrant workers attending insurance. It built some income utility models for rural migrant workers and got a balance area by comparing the utility of rural migrant workers attending insurance between ideal state and real state. Whether the attending choice belonging to the balance area was decided by the contrast of income and cost after they joined the insurance. The thesis also discussed the effect of income utility for rural migrant workers who attended the medical insurance under the regional system and the group system. It stated that it was the regional system deficiency which induced the high cost and low utility for rural migrant workers to attend medical insurance. After that, the thesis put forward a medical insurance system of rural migrant workers,and it also pointed out that this insurance system was a real choice of rural migrant workers.
