Enlightenment from the Development of Comprehensive Transport in China's State-Level New Areas to Xiongan New Area

摘要
Based on an analysis of the current situation and challenges of the comprehensive transport system in Xiongan New Area, and by applying written survey and field investigation of the other 18 state-level new areas, this paper sums up successful experiences in the development of comprehensive transport systems in major state-level new areas from nine aspects, i.e., establish a super-ministry transport management system, simplify administrative examination and approval, promote multiple planning integration, encourage green, and intelligent transport development, etc. The article further analyzes problems and challenges for these state-level new areas from six aspects. Eight points of reference are provided for the development of a comprehensive transport system in Xiongan new area. It includes carrying out reforms in comprehensive transport management system, administrative examination and approval process, strengthening regional transport strategic interaction, and encouraging the development of green and intelligent transport system and so on.
