Empirical research on comprehensive index evaluation of state-level economic and technological development zones in China

In this paper, we construct the index system to evaluate state-level economic and technological development zones in China, and make the ministry of commerce evaluate state-level economic and technological development zones' index to synthesize as eight comprehensive index, which include comprehensive economics, basis facilities, operating costs, human resources, society and environment, innovation ability, management system and development and efficiency. The eight comprehensive indexes are divided into 78 secondary indexes. This paper inspects the correlativity among the eight comprehensive indexes, constructs the comprehensive evaluation model and makes an empirical test on state-level economic and technological development zones in China. We introduce an evaluation method and provide suggestions on state-level economic and technological development zones in China, which highlight previous works in related areas and further study.
