摘要
Mobile phones have the capacity of making learning materials accessible to a larger audience, through several means such as podcasts, mobile applications, blogs and e-books, making sure learners carry learning objects with them anywhere and anytime. This paper attempts to determine social studies teacher's intention to use mobile phone as a support and tutorial tool, and also assess the influence of age, educational background and gender on the teacher's intention to use mobile phones. The respondents were from 33 Secondary Schools, most of them were Social Studies teachers, and 82 percent of the social studies teachers stated their intention to use mobile devices for teaching. The findings indicate that age and educational background have a significant influence on teachers' intention to use. The paper highlights the findings and implications to the m-learning.
