摘要
Embedded Software functionality and complexity have increased in such a way that the software has become a critical component in satellites. On the other hand the trend to build small satellites made necessary to reduce the duration and cost in on-board software development. Therefore, to have the ability to upgrade code after launch in order to correct bugs found during operation phase, to make modifications due to changes in the environment requirements, and even, to improve certain funcionalities, or to prevent future problems, is very important. In the MINISAT01 satellite three different techniques have been implemented for updating part or the whole code in order to correct or modify the loaded version. This paper describes these techniques as well as the modifications carried out in the MINISAT01 on-board software.
