摘要：

The various aspects of a natural sloshing absorber for vibration control were discussed. The sloshing natural frequency is needed to be tuned to a critical frequency of the structure to be controlled for essential strong interaction between the absorber and the structure. The efficient energy dissipation mechanism due to sloshing in a raw hen's egg was investigated. The objective was to develop design features to enhance the effectiveness of sloshing absorbers. It was observed that using water as a sloshing liquid, instead of the scrambled content may enhance energy dissipation marginally.
