摘要
The fast development of technology has a major impact on the field of training and education. A specific form of using technology on this field is Serious Game. There are a lot of application areas in which Serious Games can be used. Before use them we should establish what expectations should we have from a Serious Games? To answer this question we must start from the definition and main aim of the Serious Games. Sometimes people express some kind of resistance to learn something new in traditional way. This happens no necessary of a lack of interest or time, but because different obstacles like distractions, low on energy, fears of failure, very busy periods and even boredom appear. On the other hand, if games are fun and traditional learning is sometimes boring, must probably to use games in education and training domain is a brilliant idea. But for achieving the training objectives in an efficient way, the Serious Games design and structure must be based on solid pedagogical foundations and learner motivation must be stimulated and sustained. In this paper are addressed several theoretical models that can be applied to develop conceptual elements of game design using pedagogical methods and are analyzed motivational concepts and strategies.
