Absolutely continuous spectrum of a Schrodinger operator, and the fourier transform of the potential

For some Schrodinger operators, we establish a relationship between the absolute continuity of the spectrum and the behavior of the Fourier transform of the potential. ft is shown that the local smoothness of the Fourier transform ensures the absence of singular component of the spectrum on the corresponding interval.
