摘要
In this work, the investigation of the micronized forms of ibuprofen obtained by rapid expansion of supercritical fluid solution at various temperatures in the range of 40-80 degrees C has been conducted. The results of scanning electron microscopy, X-ray powder diffraction and differential-scanning calorimetry have produced the conclusion that the micronized form of ibuprofen obtained by RESS is the first polymorph with partially disturbed crystalline structure with comparison to the initial form. The defects of this structure may be the microinclusions of melted second polymorph. Moreover the molar fraction of these defects decreases with an increase in temperature of the supercritical solution.
