摘要：
A new species of Schizocosa (Araneae, Lycosidae) is described and illustrated. Schizocosa uetzi new species is locally abundant in the southeastern USA and is mature during June and July. Morphological characters, coloration and courtship behavior separating this new species from its closely related congeners are noted.
