摘要
In this paper, low density foam glass was prepared from scrap CRT panel glass by powder-sintering method. The effects of addictive content, antimony trioxide (Sb(2)O(3)), on morphology, density, and mechanical properties of the prepared foam glass were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and thermal conductivity instrument. The results showed that under the same heating conditions, when optimal additive amount of Sb(2)O(3) was 2.0 mass%, the density and compressive strength of foam glass were 0.1857 g/cm(3) and1.0534 Mpa, respectively, and distribution of pore size was homogeneous.
